Aureate will not record

Aureate needs the microphone and speech recognition. If you said no when it asked, open Settings, then Aureate, and turn both on.

It also needs English recognition on the iPhone itself, because it never sends your voice to a server. In Settings, General, Keyboard, turn on Dictation, and keep English among your keyboards.

Restore a purchase

The unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account. On a new iPhone, open Settings in Aureate and tap Restore purchase.

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your recordings

Talks are saved on the iPhone only. Settings in Aureate shows how much space they use and deletes them. Deleting the app deletes everything.

Aureate runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
